We provided over $1 million in grants to 45 women and gender nonconforming documentary filmmakers based in 10 countries

6 international, advanced-career filmmakers received funding and mentorship as recipients of the Chicken & Egg Award

We hired 2 new staff members to build internal capacity and expand our programs

10 documentaries by first- and second-time directors participated in the (Egg)celerator Lab and filmmakers pitched their projects at Sheffield Doc/Fest to an audience of 400+ industry members

We imagined new ways to support our filmmaker community, and we implemented new AlumNest programming such as story workshops and 1:1 meetings

Through Project:Hatched, 12 social issue films were awarded a total of $240k for their impact and engagement campaigns

Project:Hatched began as  an internal nomination process and will launch as an open call in December!

We celebrated our 15th anniversary (one year late) at our Eggstended Re-Run virtual gathering in May
